Turn on the hazard lights, walk around car and ensure that all 6 lights are flashing.
Note that this actually checks that hazard lights and not the indicators, but this is what the DSA suggest, so this is what we do for the test.
This check on your car should be performed weekly.
Proper maintenance of your vehicle is essential for reliability, safety and economy. Poor maintenance will lead to breakdowns, expense, poor fuel economy and a potentially dangerous vehicle. If in doubt, get someone who knows what they are doing to help. If necessary take your car to a mechanic.
